Photoshop Elements :: Print Folded Greeting Card Using One Piece Of Paper?
Apr 7, 2013I want to print a folded greeting card from the templates offered by Photoshop Elements, but the printing process requires you to essentially print three things: front, left-hand greeting and right-hand image. It doesn't have one template for just the front and back and another for the inside.

Feb 13, 2013I want to use a different size than the templates. The size is A2 which is half of a 8/12 by 11 paper then folded in half. (that way you can print twocards per page). I want to be able to resize my image to fit this size, add text to the front half with the image and a little text on the back.

Jul 20, 2013I hurriedly photographed the text in a greeting card and have uneven lighting and underexposure that I'd like to correct. Please see attachment, in which I've increased the brightness and contrast and then desaturated.
I've looked at tutorials on gradient contrast masks but I get lost part way through. Either I'm too much of a newbie to understand (highly probable) or maybe the tutorials are for older versions of GIMP. (I'm on 2.8.6 for Windows.)

I am trying to figure out if I need to print add a blank page to the front and print two pages to one sheet (front and back) or something else. Jun 5, 2012I have selected the Shutterfly 2 sided card template and completed all of the card layout. When I try to print, Photoshop Elements 10 wants to print the card as 3 separate pictures. Under Create, pages, it shows the correct layout, but I can't get it to print out that way. When I select print it shows the card as 3 separate photos and prints them out that way. How do I get this to print out as a 2 sided greeting card?

First file was the front of the card and second file was the inside of the card. Not resembling a card. Is there any way to share a card and have it resemble the actions of a real card. When I initally create new document under "File", I set the width to 3.5" and height 2.25" and the top, bottom, left and right bleed to .125". There wasn't an option to preset the radius of corners for the gift card. The gift card appears square in the document like a business card. How do I create the rounded corners of gift card in Adobe Illustrator CS5 (PC)? Lastly how far do I inset the dash line where text (or QR code) will be positioned? When I insert the logo and hit ctrl+shift to resize with the cornerbox I shrink it and the box becomes smaller but the image stays the same size. Photoshop :: Creating A Folded Picture
Feb 22, 2008I create all sorts of DVD case inserts using Photoshop CS3 and MediaFace 5.0 (which blessedly imports PSD files directly!).
However, occasionally (for advertising purposes) I would love to create a "3D" version of the insert (i.e., with the front cover, the spine, and the back cover showing "realistically") from the flat "2D" version I've created...
Is this possible within PS CS3, or a combination of PS, Illustrator, etc.?!?!

Mar 3, 2008I watched someone take 2 files: a company logo and a photo of a piece of silk.
The outcome of the demo was that the logo was superimposed on the folded silk, so that it looked like the silk had the logo printed on it.
The effect was stunning, with shadows, folds, etc making it look realistic.

Apr 19, 2013I have a word EDGE and I try to place it in the middle of the perspective grid, so the half left follow the left grid,
while the half right follow the right gird.
something like this:
Right now I use two graphics, and I was curious, whether I can use one image, place it in the center of the grid, and have it automatically fold over the left and right side. I'm working on very complex vector and I would rather not split it into half to create two independent images.
Is there a way to do it ?
Whenever I like to adjust the perspective using the drag points, the graphics won't adjust accordingly. I find myself refining the persective grid and than manually, from scratch readjusting all my artowork. Is there a way to do automatically ?

AutoCAD Inventor :: Pattern On Folded Sheet Metal Not Working?
Oct 24, 2013I'm nowhere close to an expert at Inventor, so there might be an easier way to do this, but I am trying to draw a dimpled heat exchanger. It's just two dimpled sheets welded together with hot oil running through the hollow space so I am trying to do one sheet first. I thought about making the flat sheet with the dimples first and then bending it, but couldn't figure out how to bend it.
Now I'm working off an already bent sheet. I got the first dimple close to how I want it, but when I tried to pattern the dimple along the current purple line, it would not let me.
I need the dimples to eventually wrap around the sheet metal in a diamond pattern.Also, I am using Inventor 2010

Jul 25, 2013I'm trying to rebuild a logo in CorelDraw, and I'm having troubles with it creating a hole when the object is folded over itself.
The curve is closed, and it's one object that loops around like a figure 8. I've attached a photo for you to see what I mean. The top is the original logo, and the bottom is what's happening when I try to fountain fill the curve. How can I layer an object over itself without it doing that?

Nov 30, 2012I have a dog bone shaped sheet metal part and each end is folded up 45 degrees to create Z shaped part, the origonal shape was done in a different program and imported as a dxf, it is curvy and no straight sides, the folds were done as fold from a sketch line.
I now want to take a section out of the middle bit, i can cut a bit out but how do i rejoin them?I was hoping to move bodies but i can't select a sing bit it only selects the hole thing even though it is in two bits?
