View 1 RepliesI am using Lightroom 4.4 on a 2013 Macbook Air OS 10.8.4.
I cannot see the Switch enables auto sync on the Metadata sync button. Its currently visible on another machine a MacPro with Lightroom v4.3. I find this useful to be bale quickly enable and disable the syncing of metadata. Has this been dropped in v4.4 or have I missed a prefs setting somewhere?
I am trying to adjust two D800 files simultaniously. Thus I select both images, toggle the Sync button to the Auto Sync state.
But, the adjustments done to the most selected image do not copy over to the other image, while this is the expected behaviour.

Just added AI CC to my home machine, changed my prefs, etc. and then synced them to the cloud.Then I installed AI CC on my work machine, and the Sync button isn't even an option. It's grayed out.Is one supposed to be "signed in" somehow when using CC?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI reinstalled Illustrator CC and for some reason the sync button on the bottom left is greyed out and so is Edit>Sync Settings. I am signed into Creative Cloud.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to burn a Blu Ray project. It is a 108 minute compilation of HD material that I assembled over the last year and am scheduled to show it Christmas Eve for my family. The project burns fine to a Blu Ray disk and plays back fine however for some reason, it will only burn in stereo and not Dolby 5.1. I have 5.1 sound enabled in the settings and when I burn the disk it is also the audio format I have chosen. I have burned two disks with the same results. I burned a test Blu Ray of this project back in November and it was encoded correctly in 5.1.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe new version seemed to overwrite at least some settings. that were sync'd.
Flick panning and animated zoom were turned on, when these were off previously. Starting a new sync did ask me to pull my settings over from creative cloud.
When I try and sync my application settings, I always get an error message saying 'sync settings failed - can't connect to creative cloud'. However, I am signed in to the creative cloud application manager (sitting in my task bar, saying I am signed in) and there is nothing wrong with my internet connection. Why can't my photoshop sync my settings?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI easily found the Sync Settings function (to cloud) in Photoshop, but cannot find it in Lightroom. Lightroom is also not listed here: [URL].......
Is it not featured? If so, why? I've lost user presets before, and was expecting this to be part of the CC package.
I cannot sync my settings from my desktop to my laptop.
Prefs are grayed out and have no option to log-in to enable them.
When I choose Manage Account, it just has me log-in to creative cloud in my browser and views my files.

I have been a PS user since 2006 and while I'm not a professional artist I am a very keen photographer. Additionally, I can still pull out and the first year trial is relatively affordable for a CS6 user.
My question is this:
Once I signed up I reloaded CS6 from the CC product options. I then checked for updates and it reloaded some updates. So how do I know I have the CC version? The System Info states that I have Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.1.2 (13.1.2 20130105.r.224 2013/01/05:23:00:00) x64.
The reason I ask is that I saw an interesting blog item on syncing settings with the CC Cloud. When I checked my CS6 menu, I did not have the Sync option. I am thinking that this may not be the correct way to update my in-place installed version of CS6 to the more current version of CC CS6.
I installed Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC on my laptop. I customized all my settings like keyboard shortcuts, tool panels, brushes and so on. However, now I'm trying to sync with my desktop computer and everytime it asks me if I want to keep local or remote settings, I choose, as indicated by your tutorial video, "keep remote" settings. But it not only doesn't work, as also replaces my settings in the cloud with the ones from the computer I'm trying to sync (which are the default settings.)
I also tried to find this feature for Indesign CC, but I could find.
Not sure if this is by design, but when I set up LT2013 and sync to cloud at LOCATION A, the settings at LOCATION B get updated fine. But it doesn't bring accross the changes to the CUI / Ribbons / Workspace from LOCATION A.
I have checked and have all options to sync enabled, bar printers. I would expect the appearance and workspace should sync.
whenever I sync any folder in LR3 some basic develop settings are applied. These happen to be my 'standard' edit settings - contrast, saturation, sharpening etc. but nothing major. I don't know if it's a bug, or something I've done myself. I can't seem to switch it off, I've tried looking at preferences (normal), the import presets (none), restoring Adobe default settings, resetting all settings and using these as the default. Nothing works.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have my settings in my PC, like PGP shortcuts, user preferences, etc. When I logged in another machine, which is a clean install btw, I expect that my other machine's settings will come here. But it is the opposite. My original machine gets default shortcuts, etc.
View 4 Replies View RelatedDoes cloud have any backups of sync setings? Maybe like settings from back a few weeks or more.

2) My settings refuse to upload to CC no matter what I do. I've tried deleting the stored settings from my CC account. I've tried signing out of CC via the help menu in PP and then signing back in again. I've tried clening the media cache. Restarting/rebooting/opening new project etc etc.. all steps suggested in other posts but nopthing seems to work.
how can I achieve the best of my graphics card. I have a 6490M AMD Radeon, an i3 Sandy Bridge Processor at 2.2GHZ and 8GB of RAM. I am not looking for making Photoshop work the fastest possible. I know what computer I am working with. What I need are the best settings for my graphics card (anti-aliasing, vertical sync etc.) all those settings that you can change from Quality to Performance. How do they influence Photoshop ?
I would also like to know what are the best settings for Photoshop Preferences. Most of my work circles around Web Design (files with many layers and low resolutions).
LR4 final seems to have a very annoying bug.
When I select a number of images (in the film strip) and either
1) paste settings that I've previously copied from another image or
2) sync settings from one image to the rest
... the settings are not applied to all the selected images. The settings are only applied to a seemingly random subset of the selected images.
I'm going to try to pin down the exact circumstances that make this occur.

"Illustrator CC has stopped working. Please enable Verdana font(s) and relaunch Illustrator."
I've checked the font and it's enabled but Illustrator refuses to open. I uninstalled CC and reinstalled it, but still no joy.
I'm running the latest version of Suitcase Fusion 5 and Verdana is enabled. CS6 seems to work, but my CC files are not opening in an editable form on CS6.

3d Max Design 2013. I'm having issues right off the bat with my mouse, especially the middle mouse button. During the tutorial videos, we're instructed that using the MMB with the Ctrl, Alt, or combination there of, a hand icon will appear and certain movements will occur. My mouse is not behaving in this manner. I am wondering if there is a certain setting within windows I need to set the MMB, specifically for this program, since the default setting doesn't seem to work.

View 29 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to configure the mouse button settings in Maya 2012 similar to the Hot Keys editor for configuring key settings? I would like to change the ALT-RMB setting to pan the camera instead of dollying it.
I need this because I have a three button mouse on which the MMB is also a scroll wheel, and whenever I try to click it it always moves and starts dollying the camera view instead of panning the camera view. I can dolly with the scroll wheel so I would like to pan with ALT-RMB. Otherwise I cannot pan at all.
Since I installed the 2014 Inventor, my 3Dconnexion Space Navigator refuses to keep the settings I program for the buttons. I tried updating to the latest version of the driver, but that didn't work. I also tried unchecking the autosave function in the driver, but they still get changed anyway and then the driver asks if I want to save the changes.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThere appears to be an issue with colorsync between PS CS6 and AI CS6. This is what I have come across: Both applications are color synced to sRGB color space, converting from and to other colorspaces using Adobe Ace, absolutly colometric. An sRGB document is created in PS CS6, featuring a square of the color #000050. After that an empty RGB doc is created in AI CS6, also with an sRGB profile and this PS file is placed within. The color of aforementioned square, checking with the AI color picker is now #0f004f and not #000050. Creating within this very AI document a rectangle of the color #000050 and then exporting this file to PS, you'll end up with a PS file, featuring 2 squares of the same color #000050.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to nudge the anchor points on an object randomly (to get an informal look). (I know some Effects do this already.)
Maintaining corner points is no problem - you just set the direction handles to the same coordinates as their anchor.
But I can't nudge a smooth point in the way I want to, which is to move the anchor but maintain the direction handles in exactly the same relation to their anchor as they had before. That is to say, they should remain smooth points.
My script calculates the difference between 'before' and 'after' positions of the anchor, and applies that difference to the direction handles… but in practice the smooth points are converted to corners, because the direction handles don't maintain their relation with the anchor.
var docRef = activeDocument;
var objects = activeDocument.selection.length;
var cShift = prompt("Point shift (pt)",5);
// loop through all objects
for(var count=0;count<objects;count++)

I'm having some problems with drawing paths in Illustrator. Everytime I draw a new path, this new path shows up in the standard settings. The 'brush defenition' turns back to 'basic' and the 'variable width profile' back to 'uniform'. It would save me a lot of time if I could change those standard settings into what I prefer.
