Photoshop :: Spray Paint / Spray Can Effect
May 1, 2008I want to create a spray paint brush that has the same effect that you get from a spray can within Photoshop. I messed around with various brush effects with the airbrush option enabled, but I cant seem to get a real spray can effect. Another problem that I see is that I don't get enough dispersion, what mean by that is if I have a 50px brush, the maximum dispersion I get is 50px, so I never get a true spray paint effect.

Mar 8, 2011I got a new MAC OS X 10.6.2 last spring and installed the CorelDraw 11 that I've used for several years on my other MACS. When I try to use a bitmap effect from the drop down menu (like 3D effects, art strokes, creative, contour etc...) the boxes do not open. I've tried reinstalling the application and it didn't work. I was always able to use these effects on my other computers. Every other menu item I use works. I wish Corel would make something new for MACs

May 4, 2008The brush tool is no longer working - when I select on any of the brush tools, spray, Art burhs, spray , line, marker etc, they will not work. When I select the drop down nothing is listed. Additionally, none of the other tools in the box, Effect Tool, Image Sprayer too ect, do not work as well. Did I select something to turn off the tool?
I've tried to uninstall and re-install and that did not work.

Jun 19, 2013I can't find the blur tool/brush /as in Photoshop/. I need to blur parts of the edges of the hair for example after separate it from the background and it's very useful in other cases but I can't find a tool like blur tool.
I worked in photoshop a lot of years and now I started to work in CDX6. Very familiar with CorelDraw but the PP is a unknown land for me.

Jul 30, 2012If this is possible to have a transparency brush in doing fades on curves. the brush would enable to lighten spot colors when brushed over the curve or curves. you could make a whole graphic fade out around the edges just by brushing over the edges.
You could have the capabilities to adjust the amount of the fade on a tool bar. maybe this is out there, but it would save a lot of time when doing graphics for t shirts and you want to fade the edges of the image on the shirt. you rip program would define the half tones by the transparency fade.

Oct 17, 2013I am playing with this at the minute but thought I would upload an image I am having trouble with. Learned 'flattening' with effects on top of other images - my problem this time is that we need a ghosted part of an image - my boss has done a 'glow' rectangle but i cannot 'flatten' it as it is sitting on top of a vector image!
I am going to try and split the vector image and fill it with a fountain fill but unsure if this can be done.

Instead a scale comes up that changes the brush opacity...What happened? I can't figure out what happened. See attached file. The red arrow indicates what comes up when alt is pressed.

Apr 3, 2012Suppose you apply spiraling effect on the left edge of the figure (clockwise) and want to reproduce the same effect,but with the same intensity on the right side of the figure (reverse clockwise) so that both effects have symmetry.Clicking on the opposite edge of the picture and select the opposite direction (changing clockwise direction in the appropriate button) does not necessary mean that there will be the desired symmetry, once you can not determine how much pressure should be given to get exactly the same spirals intensity given to the left edge.
Is there any way to do it accurately? In what moment you should release mouse so that the number of turns is the same as previously established (left side)?

May 9, 2013Is there some way to move the corner control points of the perspective effect grid via the arrow keys? I have hand problems and any time I need to move something very precisely I use the arrow keys, or risk hurting my hands. If not, would there be some way to do this with a macro? Also, is there some setting for it – other than having to hold down the shift and control keys while you click and drag, which is just a killer for me – that will arrange it in ways that are only symmetrical (where if you move one side the other side moves equally in the opposite direction)? As far as I can see, rectangular and freehand settings behave the same.

Jun 5, 20121. First question: I need to apply Mesh Fill effect to a circular vector (ring) which was built with the Combine command (Ctrl + L), but Mesh Fill is not allowed for objects combined. Is there any alternative for this?
2. Second question: How to make that mesh nodes has the circular shape of the figure (in this case, a ring)?(By clicking on the object, it creates a mesh grid and edit the nodes to obtain a circular form is very laborious and the result is not satisfactory).
