Photoshop Elements :: Online Services Could Not Be Initialized
Jan 31, 2013PSE 10 has been working fine since installation a few months ago. Last week, I tried opening it, but the message ' Online services could not be initialized. Please reinstall' came up. I tried to reinstall using the dvd,and the message 'Please log in as administrator' came up. Once logged in as administartor, it still won't uninstall the originl so that I can reinstall it. How should I proceed?

I have reinstalled many times, including once with no online services started after a restart of the computer. The Editor works fine. I am running a Dell with Windows 7.

AutoCAD Inventor :: 2013 Vault Addin Could Not Find Data Management Services
May 9, 2013I was getting this error on one of my users machines, inventor 2013 vault add in could not find the data management services
I uninstall Vault workgroup 2013, Inventor 2013, re install, and re install add ins, worked for half a day, and just got the same error again,
it seems As Inventor looses the add in, what was intersiting it gave an error about some unerlaying error after disgarding that, the add in doesnt work anymore.
I also cant copy design from vault on the same machine, all Inventor related files cant be copied, but dwg files can.
I get the feeling its an Inventor issue, my last resort is a clean install.

So I don;t want to download images first, then pull into acad, I want them to download straight from GE. URL....

When I look in our OPTIONS dialog box I do not have the ONLINE tab and ALL items/panels in the ONLINE Tab of the Ribbon are grayed out and disabled?
How do I go about patching/repairing the workstations to we can access the online settings and features?

May 9, 2008We are installing photoshop on Win 2003 server running terminal services. We have about 15 students per server. I was wondering when setting the system performance on memory usage is the setting on a global scale or on per-user.
Sample: 4gigs ram adobe default setting is is about 50 to 55% of total ram leaving about 2 gigs left. Now how will photoshop handle the memory if 21 users were using the system at the same time. Would that 2 gig be divvied out to each user who ever is needing more at that time get more memory?
I am asking this because there is talk about setting the memory of PS lower to around 300 megs under each student profile. So that the student will not use more than allowed. Does photoshop recognize unique performance settings per user in terminal services? OR does PS see system performance settings as a global change, remember we have only one instance installed of PS and that is a server.

Mar 14, 2012Using Inventor 2012. When trying to open a dwg file, Inventor issues a message that it cannot open the template (Standard.idw). When I manually open the Standard.idw template, it loads fine and opens, but Inventor automatically starts online HELP. Is there a way to stop HELP from starting, and is this possibly the cause of the problem with opening a dwg file?

SwitchBoard.exe*32
Can I force close them while bridge or photoshop running? This is my requirement in app-v because when I exit the bridge , photoshop these processes run behind which doesn't allow my virutal bubble to shutdown.
Can I close all these processes even if photoshop is running?Actually I killed these processes from task manager but didn't affect photoshop application. But just want to make sure force closing these processes wont break the running application.

Mar 31, 2013I am having a problem setting up Lightroom 4.3 Publishing Services. Each time I click “OK I’ll Authorise button in Flickr it goes to a blank screen with no completion of the process. After many attempts over the last couple of days, this morning I was able to get error message from flickr that says “Oops! Flickr doesn't recognise the "oauth_token" this application is trying to use.” And goes on to say “You don't really need to know what this means, except that you can't use the application until this problem is fixed. (It's a third-party problem, not a Flickr problem).

Aug 28, 2012I'm wondering if Autodesk has additional items possibly on their website that we can add to the content center. Or is their entire catalog already included when we install Inventor? I'm looking for ferry cap screws but haven't found them anywhere. I'm thinking I will have to create them myself and add them to the content center. I'm using Inventor Professional 2013.

Lightroom :: 4.3 - Authorize Flickr In Publish Services?
Dec 31, 2012When I try to authorize Flickr in the publish services, nothing happens. I click authorize and then click authorize again on the permission window and then it just returns to the beginning as not authorized. No internet explorer window even opens? I was able to authorize Facebook without issue and it opened an internet explorer window just fine so I'm unclear why it doesn't happen with Flickr?
I even tried logging into my Flickr account prior to attempting to authorize in Lightroom and still nothing?

Dec 29, 2013I have a number of photos that are published via multiple services. E.g. Many of my photos I publish to Google+ (Picasa), Flickr and a local Hard Drive folder.
Whenever I modify a photo that is published via multiple services, I then have to go into each published folder and manually republish. I was wondering if there was a way to somehow republish an image automatically across all of the services/folders it is published to?
