i am trying to make a usb pendrive but i did'nt get chrome material for the metal part of usb is it possible to make such type of materials in autocad itself. trying to getting this type of materials.
We would like to make the transparency of glass-materials visible in views and section-views by using the "realistic style". During a 3d-view our glass-material looks like transparent. Isn't it possible for REVIT to display the transparency of materials in views ?
The workaround to hide "glass" by using "overriding visibility" is not possible for us because some of our families and project families are using glass-materials inside (Showcases f.e.).

I'm having a rough time with the new Photoshop way of always having it's big honkin interface blocking my view when there's no document. Yes I can mouse up and hide PS but I rather click thru the space where the document USED to be but when closed, reveals all underneath it. Is a way of getting rid of the do-nothing-when-empty photoshop chrome?
If someone could create me a PSD so then i can mess around with that and change colours so on... but would like it with a gold / silver chrome effect like in the pic..

I've been very disappointed with all Chrome. Does anyone have a good, realistic, shiny chrome layer style I can apply to text and shapes? It's going to be for a business card, so it's 300dpi.
How to accomplish this task or aspects of it in a different and possibly more effective way, drawing cars or other modes of transportation. I'm always open for a better or more effective way of accomplishing a desired effect.
I have watched a tutorial video about creating "Text Chrome" on youtube. I need to create a 128 x 128 flat surface chrome, high gloss texture.
I want to put this texture in my CAD program as a bmp. Is there a particular plug in I need to do this? Using version 3.5.10 and XP.In the said video, some commands were shown that I do not currently have.
I created a logo which was 1.8cm sq & used the chrome filter on it.
I now need to make a much larger version of the logo & after creating all theother parts of my logo ok, the Chrome filter gives completly the wrong effect?
