In the Autodesk Inventor drawing (.idw) I am unable to change the font size when i dimension a hole and thread. I have tried going into "Edit Hole Note" and "Text" when you right click on the dimension.

I create a text box and paste in the info into it. Now I want to resize the box to fit the space available but the handles end up changing the font size. I need the software to change the auto line feeds as the box's size is changed.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a layer of lables for a drawing that all have 1" text, and I want to change all the text to 1.5", without having to scale them individually. There must be some way to select the layer and do a global adjustment of the text font?
I'm surprised I'm not finding this in the menu's, etc.Since I need each text to scale properly from it's own location, I cannot simply scale everything from one base point.
Is there a way to quickly change all text font in model space in autocad electrical 2009 rather than doing it manually for every text block?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to set my default font size, Helvetica (Type 1) to 12 point. It keeps reverting back to 24 point.
I have to use Type 1 Helvetica and not that new "Helvetica Neuel T 55 Roman" because of standards for a magazine I work on. I though Open Type Helvetica (the real Helvetica) was included with CorelDRAW X6.
I open an older document from an unknown source. A warning pops up that I have no substitute for the font, which is Helvetica90ms-RKSJ-H. I go to the "change font" window but am unable to substitute this font for the one on my system, which is Adobe Helvetica. If I try change the character style options default, it defaults right back to Helvetica90ms-RKSJ-H. If I manually change each bit of text (there are dozens in each document, and 200 documents), then copy/paste the fonts into a new document, the new document becomes corrupted and I can no longer choose the font on my system (Adobe Helvetica).
I have even tried an interim method of copy/pasting, by copying to the Windows notepad. That should lose any and all formatting. But when I copy it back to the Illustrator document, it becomes corrupted with Helvetica90ms-RKSJ-H.
There is a ovelap happening in the centre. I am unable to change fonts or font sizes. Never faced this problem in 12 or X3.

I've recently changed from another program to Elements 11. When applying a watermark, whether I set the font to 8 or 72, it appears microscopic on the photo (must zoom to see if its there). I've tried watermarking via adding text and via the "Process Multiple Files" applications with the same result. (The opacity is fine.) I don't know if there's a hidden setting someplace I need to change or if this is ann Adobe defect. Since I've recently uploaded the program, am resistent to having to pay for Adobe tech support!

I can only change the font size of menu a little bigger and can't do anything about the other font size. I am so frustrated. The reason why I bought Imac 27" is to protect my weak vision and there are no means to change the font size in lightroom. I searched online and found many customers had this issue.

Try to unchecking the 'dynamic text' button but I don't see this button anywhere in my text tab.

In Photoshop there is a menu in preferences>interface>ui font size and if I change it nothing happens, also if I restart Photoshop or the whole PC it just stays. The other programs doesn't even have an option like this?
I am facing the following problems while working on the navigation bars.
a) I am not able to create a new on of my own, I have to again and again drag and drift a navigation bar from the Designers Gallery, and right click and more buttons to it . What If I want to create a button of my own design ???

I find the default interface in CS6 difficult to read as the menu/tool labels seem very small to me. I can manipulate via Windows, but then the fonts in the windows of all my other apps are too big.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am using PSE12 with Mac OS X Mavericks. If I use the type tool, type some text then want to change maybe the font or size, the text disappears! If I set the parameters before typing everything is OK, but it is really inconvenient.
Also when I do a return in text the first letter of the next line is always a capital whether or not I start a new sentence!

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis has been a little annoying when trying to work on my edge animate projects. As I am using an old 4:3 ratio as my monitor - I don't have a lot of space on my desktop. Whenever I want to insert or edit code in Edge, the code menu pratically takes up my whole screen.
As you can see the font is still large even when it is on 'small' font size. Is there anywhere to change this or do I have to go digging manually into Edge's files?
I noticed just lately, if I update the height of the text in my IDW through Styles Editor, not all the text in the document updates? Why would this be? All the text is under the text style "Instruction Text", but when I update the text height in the Instruction text style, only some of the text updates and I have to manually update all the rest?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am engraving a company logo on to the outside of a round tube with a custom font. There are two boxes of text that I am engraving. The first box works just fine with the "Emboss" tool. The second line works fine when the "% Stretch" parameter in the text edit window is left at 100%. When I change the "% Stretch" to 85%, I get the "Self-intersecting loop found in this profile" error message. I get this error message when I try stretching it to 115% as well. I changed the font to a standard font and I was able to emboss the text no matter the "% Stretch" value.
The bottom line is Inventor will not emboss text that has a custom font and a modified stretch percentage. This line of text must be stretched to match the company logo.

How can I change the default point size of the numbers that the dimensioning tool generates? Right now it is defaulted at 24 pt. and i have to manually select and change to 10 pt all through my drawings.
