View 1 RepliesI've had a great time using the Web Photo Galleries in Photoshop CS and CS2, especially since I'm fairly deft with HTML and a total Flash dunce, so the Web Photo Gallery Flash 1 and Flash 2 templates have served me well and allowed me to make fun Flash stuff without having to learn. But, with learn-by-doing, there often comes a point of confusion, and I think I've found mine.
I noticed that (when using the gallery "Flash 1"), if I click the little ? in the bottom right, the file name will come on and stay on throughout all the pictures. This is exactly what I want since that's where I do all my captioning and it really adds something for me to be able to see that. My question: how in the world do I get it to do this by default? I'm always telling friends/family, "oh, click the little ? in the bottom right and it'll show the captions," but am certain there must be some way to do this by default.
I fiddled in the galleryconfig.xml file, but there's only this line
HTML Code:
<var symboltype="boolean" name="showHelpButton" value="true" />
which actually just tells the button to be displayed, but not for the thing that happens as a result of pushing the button to stay displayed.
i created a photo gallery by photoshop > file >automate >photo gallery.
After complete process that are showing all images name desending order, i whould to see acending order.
I am making a web photo gallery and my images end with anyanyany_1,anyanyany_2,etc - my problem is anyanyany_10 ends up following anyanyanay_1 How should I name my files so they remain sequential given that I have between 11 and 35 files in my folder?
View 3 Replies View Relatedhow do display the filename UNDER each thumbnail in the Elements 12 Organizer and NOT just on the right side of the screen? I see the date and rating under each thumbnail, but not the filename.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIn previous versions of Photoshop I go to "file", "automate", and create a web photo gallery. That option is not available in Photoshop CC. Tutorials online teach how to create this through Bridge but I can't seem to find it there either.Â
View 2 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else found this to be valuable feature that is no longer available? We used this feature regularly as a method for proofing our customers and I have found that the one that is included in Bridge is sorely lacking from the Photoshop version.
Has anyone found a solution or something that works similarly that is can be customized as deeply?
I want to do a photo gallery (like the ones you do in photo shop) but I want to add my own background.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI built one with the Slideshow. I couldn't figure out where the descriptions were supposed to come from, I thought I could enter them in Bridge somewhere, but didn't figure that out.
So, I opened them up in Dreamweaver and added descriptions to each of the files. Problem is that as the slideshow goes on, only the first description shows up, the rest, the file number changes, but not the description.
Is this option gone, renamed, or has it been move to a differen't location? I've look already under File>Automate
View 2 Replies View RelatedI created a Web Photo Gallery in PS, which gives me an 'Index.html' output that runs the gallery. Is it possible to embed this gallery within a web page? Or does it have to be a separate web page? I have a website template and I'd like to just embed the gallery within the page and still have all of my menu bars etc... I'd like to stay away from using frames.

I know of the different choices possible when going through the photo gallery creation options, but I want more.
The index pages are not a problem but it's all of the image pages that become time consuming.
Does anyone know what to do about this error message in the middle of the web photo gallery automation?
"Could not complete the web photo galleery command because the file is in use or was left open."
It seems to be happening quite randomly on different photos. I've tried restarting the program and the computer, emptying the trash and have checked the clipboard,
I'm making a quick and dirty web photo gallery of some tennis pictures.
I have one questions (Photoshop CS3):
1) Is there some easy and quick way of adding some simple navigation to it? I want to add the following links:
1st singles
2nd singles
1st doubles
2nd doubles
3rd doubles
Is there some way of adding links in Web Photo Gallery, or should I just slap some links in with a text editor?
I working to modify one of the templates for the Web Photo Gallery, and am wondering if there is a way to designate in the template what to name the index page besides index.htm or index.html.
I'm working to create a site that will have many photo galleries. And while it does work to have each gallery in its own sub directory with the main gallery page named index.htm. I would prefer to have the main gallery page renamed during the automation process for easier archiving.
In Photoshop 7, running XP. I was wondering if there is some way to send someone the index.html file over email & have them be able to see the slideshow by using the Automate>Web Photo Gallery option. If not is there another way to create a slideshow in Photoshop so it can be emailed & viewable without posting to a webpage? Or would I have better luck with just using a .pdf?

I've googled and haven't yet found out a quality solution, lots of info on simply combining and replacing drivers and the like and nothing really set in stone from Adobe, or Microsoft etc
I'm using the Flash - Gallery 1 that came with Photoshop CS2. Is there a (hopefully easy) way to get the gallery to automatically play the slideshow when a user visits the page (instead of clicking the play button)?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI want to edit a photo from my Gallery on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, but all I get when I click on Local Images is a few pre-loaded photos that presumably came with the app. I don't know how or where to update PS either, I only bought this tablet a week ago.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Web Photo Gallery feature in Photoshop CS has all of a sudden started to rotate vertical photos to the horizontal position. In the finished gallery the thumbnails and large photos are rotated. When I open the images in Photoshop they are correct and in the vertical position. Any advice on reverting it back to the way it is supposed to be? I've looked through all the tabs and can't find where I might have accidently changed something to have caused this.
I did notice that when I just try to make a web gallery of only a few images they appear correct.
How do I change my PC so pictures are only uploaded from a SD-card to only ADOBE, (and not windows photo gallery???)

I used to be able to import pics from my camera into a specific folder on my hard drive. That was until 2 weeks ago. Now my only choice is to import into the folders below. C. drive - where all my digi camera pics are - is no longer there. How do I get L/R import to recognize my hard drive again.
I've been using Photoshop Elements 5.0 for a few years now on my PC running Vista. Beginning just a few days ago (and unconnected to any updates of which I am aware), I started getting an error when I tried to delete or import files in the Organizer. The error says: ODBC data source [Microsoft] [ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Cannot open database "I". It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt. The photos are there - I can see them in Windows Photo Gallery. I can delete photos from there as well. Just not in Organizer. Wondered if anyone might be able to point me in a good direction for a fix?
