Dec 27, 2012I downloaded the installer for the trial of Photoshop CS6 Extended, however upon installing it and using the trial, I do not have access to the 3D menu or any other Extended features. When the program starts up, it only reads Adobe Photoshop CS6 and the About Photoshop popup in the Help menu reveals it to be CS6 instead of Extended. Have I taken a wrong turn somewhere? I had problems with the download manager too in that after signing into it with my account the download did not immediately start and instead I had to select Photoshop CS6 from the list within the manager.

If he tried to install the upgrade, is it registered during that process, even if he had to stop at the point Adobe asked for proof of a previous version?

Jun 25, 2009I just /L'd the CS4 Extended and installed. when I try to run it I get the screen that asks if I have a serial or want a trial. I have now tried the serial 8 times (each time getting the green check mark) and tried the trial option as well. As soon as I hit "ok" nothing happens. All of the other programs that came with it, like Bridge, all fire up no problem. Vista Ultimate Sooper Dooper or whatever the top one is, 32 bit4 G RamNVIDIA CardMega ton of disk space.

Mar 24, 2008(like the EXACT error message or the exact steps to recreate this). I was just hoping that someone may have run into this and know a quick fix., they've run the DropletFixer.vbs, and it showed no errors.
This isn't an upgrade, as such, but a new install of CS3 where we used to have v5.5 (about time, I know!)... I've tried to set up droplets (the main reason for upgrading, as I do a lot of photo processing), following some tutorials both from Adobe and on the web. Dragging a photo onto the droplet just gets an error where the droplet "has encountered a problem and needs to close".

The reason for removing CS2 is that I am quickly running out of available disk space on drive C. As a side question, is it possible to delete CS4 from my laptop and re-install it on my D drive (how wil that affect my activation?)

Nov 30, 2013I just installed Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 CC onto my computer. Lightroom had no problems getting set up and is ready to go. I had an old demo version of Photoshop CS6 on my computer and was told to delete it, which I did. Unfortunately, it also damaged Photoshop 6 CC and I had to unistall it also. Now CC is saying it is up to date and won't reinstall it. I really need to start working on something I promised I would have ready by Monday and can't do it because I don't have Photoshop again.

Sep 27, 2004I installed 4 or 5 Microsft hotfixes in a row the other day. Since, photoshop 7 doesn't start up. I went to the control panel to uninstall the last new hotfixes, but each time I get the dialog box telling me that if I uninstall the KB840315 then Internet Explorer and Outlook Express might not work. For the moment I can work on a different computer, but not for long.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop on different disks. Still the same.

Jan 9, 2004I installed some True Type fonts on my machine the other day and I noticed that Photoshop does not include them in its list of fonts. Other True Type fonts that I installed in the past are recognized and included.
Is there some way I can get Photoshop to "see" fonts when it does not do so on its own?
I sure would like to be able to use the fonts with Photoshop. I know that some of the ones I installed worked on previous versions of PS.

Jan 4, 2009My C Drive boot sector recently failed due to motherboard problems, causing me to have to install another hard drive to have an operating system to run. I am still using my old hard drive for data, only now it is renamed as my F drive. When I try to run PSCS2 off my F drive I get the message "Your Adobe Photoshop user name, organization, or serial number is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue and must now exit." Adobe's website says I need to reinstall PS, BUT I cannot find my install disks! I have a legal copy of CS2 and I cannot find it after scouring the house and it's nooks and crannies. Does anyone know if there is a data or text file that I could go into behind the scenes to tell PS to point to the F drive instead of the C Drive? I did this for my Quickbooks software, but can't figure out if PS has such a capability.
