View 8 RepliesI've recently upgraded to PSP X5 and tried to update to the latest nvidia 32 bit DDS Plugin today (this one).
After the installation i copied the "dds.8bi" file in my "PlugInsEN" folder - which worked perfect with previous versions (my latest was from 2011 tho).
When i try to save a DDS file i get the normal DDS export/configuration dialog. When i hit save, i get an error message stating that the plugin causes an access violation (in german: "Plugin hat Zugriffsverletzung verursacht").
That error message appears twice and the file is of course not saved.
I created a simple "Hello World" plugin by following the instructions in Adobe's guide: Getting Started with Adobe Illustrator CC Development, which is available as a pdf here.
The plugin works in the 32-bit version of Illustrator CS6, but I get an error message while trying to launch the 64-bit version. "Error loading plugins. HelloWorld.aip" How can I fix this error?
When I generate a 32 bit tiff (HDR) in PS CS5 from bracketed pictures within lightroom 4.1, import the tiff back into lightroom, adjust it in lightroom, and then send it back to PS (option "Edit a Copy with Lightroom Adjustments" selected) for further editing, the file won't open in PS. Opening the file directly in PS works, but without the adjustments made in lightroom.
I have tried the same with a 32 bit tiff from Photomatix. Same behaviour.
I am crashing with an unhandled access violation reading 0x4243a000 exception at fd99113h. This seems to happen frequently when zooming in and out. What is the cause of this and how to fix it?

I am getting "Unhandled Access Violation Reading" error when I use InsertVertexAt (of Polyline3d) and close AutoCAD.
This error happens when I CLOSE AutoCAD.
Here is my code snippet.

I have this Acad plugin (C#), where I simply create a Ribbon, Button on it that executes a Command. Windows 7, AutoCAD 2013 all running x64. Used the ObjectARX x64 Libraries for my references. In my environment, everything works just fine, on my clients workstations... it shows 'Unhandled access violation reading 0x0000 exception'
Since client installed AutoCAD 2012 and then 2013, I tried a Repair, to no result. Have verified all references, put all ObjectARX references, just to make sure, put debug lines in the code. It crashes at first line:
Autodesk.Windows.RibbonControl ribbonControl = Autodesk.Windows.ComponentManager.Ribbon;
All other Commands seem to run just fine.
I just installed Autocad 2012 on my computer 32 bit, but when I try to open it, a message come out:

PS: the numbers and words underlined change every time I open autocad (fo example: 5ecf8f50h, bad8f50h) , but the previous message is always the same
We are getting the following error on one of our machines: FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Writing 0x7f83f993 Exception at 49206f1ch. 1. regediting the DWORD Low to all 0000000, but it goes back to whetever value it was (i have tried with changing value and restarting, not restarting... etc. numerous combinations) and the error is still there
2. On one ocasion an autodesk employees on that thread informed the user that the generated error report was pointing towards a usb display adapter, and as I was using an external replicator (USB) I decided to try with the laptop running by itself on it's own graphics, that didn't change the error message. Next step update the HD4000 driver to the latest from intel, but still the same fatal error.
On top of the above i have also completly unistalled Autocad and all related products, performed new installation with same fatal error again after the installation. I have tried different comatibility modes when running the software and i have tried running as administrator (although I am logged as administrator anyway)
I'm using Autocad 2013, when I open my existing files this appear and program shut down

Attached herewith is a screenshot
Inserting blocks from Design Center into model space causes the fatal error: access violation message to pop up.
This never happened in 2012, and I used it from day one.
My livelihood as a 2D drafting student depends on being able to use the blocks from DesignCenter, and now all of a sudden (I've been using 2013 since the day it released with no problems at all until about a week ago) it crashes every time I try to insert a block, regardless of which method I choose to insert with (i.e. right click insert or dragging into the model space window).
I'm on an Alienware M17x R3 running Windows 7 Home Premium with a Quad-core intel i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GTX 560M 1.5GB graphics chip.
I've tried system restore, program repair, clean uninstalls, and none of it fixes the problem. It seems that once the levee broke, so to speak, the bug is there to stay. Or perhaps more accurately, it was there the entire time and it was only a matter of time before it surfaced.
In either case, I would love, after having been a guinea pig, to see a patch issued for this if possible. Not being able to use the sample dynamic blocks is hell. Barring a patch sometime soon, I'm strongly leaning towards going back to 2012, which worked like a charm.
Having a problem with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 which keeps crashing with a fatal error on a Win7 Pro (64) machine. Was able to get the user to make a screenshot on the most recent occasion, and the error was as follows:
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0014 Exception at f5a69bb9h.
Having looked through your forums I see that this may be related to the video card, which is a Nvida Quadro 5000. I've already updated the driver to the Quadro Performance Driver, v320.78, but the problem continues.
Is there a different partner certified driver that I should be using (can't seem to find any for Civil 3D) , or is the issue related to something else?

I am working for a consultant using a required template from the city and when I open just the main template I recieved a message about 10 errors, do I want to recover, so I do and it finds no errors but I continually get the message. I'm thinking that fatal error message has something to do with the 10 errors. what those fatal error codes are in the subject line?
