Photoshop :: How To Transfer CS6 From One To Other
Aug 15, 2013
I currently have photoshop cs6 installed on my desktop and am paying the monthly installment via adobe. I am buying a new desktop and would like to know , how do I transfer CS6 from one to the other?
I am looking at buying a 27" IMAC. URL....I agree to destroy my version of photoshop. Of course Im happy to do that if i buy the mac but im not agreeing to it in case I dont so its a bit chicken and egg really.
So my question is, before i spend nearly 1400 pounds on an imac and then realise i cant use my CS5 at all, which will be my main editing tool, how will I know if this is possible?
I have cs3 on my old Dell laptop and want to transfer it to a new one. My Dell has never been on the web so how do I transfer it. I only now have it on one other computer.
I have come across and scanned in some old dye transfer negatives (red, green, blue). Is there any way to combine these images in CS5 so as to recreate what would have resulted from the original dye transfer printing?
I have 1000s of raw files on seperate hdr drives . I want to put some on to a DVD disk which i can the play on my TVs DVD. do they have to be converted to JPEG . what processes do i do ?
I have pictures on Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 which is no longer supported by Adobe. How can I transfer them to Photoshop 7.0. Each time I upload pics from my iPhone they go directly to 3.0 even though I have now specified 7.0. I'm reluctant to uninstall 3.0 which might solve one problem, because I don't want to lose the pics.
I recently purchased a new computer and I need to transfer my photoshop to it from my old computer. Is there a way to do this or do I need to purchase a new one?
So I just purchased a new computer, and with the work I do, sometimes it's easier to have two iterations of Photoshop running on two different computers. In other cases, someone in my family is using my computer, for something other than Photoshop, so I just want to sit at the other computer.
So I installed CS2 Suite on the new computer, which went fine, then activated it, which it said went fine, then when I went to use the software it says I didn't have a properly registered software, or something to that effect.
So I looked over the license agreement and it basically says you can have a copy on another machine, but you can only use one at a time...which after reading further, leads me to believe I have to de-activate the software on one computer before I can activate it on the other.... so in effect, I don't believe I can run on two machines at the same time...
I have to bring a project from Photoshop to school to present.
Problems - you can NOT nstall fonts, brushes, etc. on the school computers - I have used custom brushes and fonts that do not come with Photoshop - project need to be a .psd
So what would be the best way to view/transfer the project to the school computer?
I have adobe Photoshop CS6 extended on my PC and want to install it on the new laptop and was wondering how do I transfer the actions or brushes that I have on the PC to the laptop or can it even be done.
i have part exchanged my iMac for a new version. i did not migrate my applications and i now want to trasnfer the license from the old computer to the new one.
I want to do is add a shoulder from a portrait session. i cannot open 2 images in Photoshop at the same time, before in cs4 I could why cant i do it now. how do i transfer a layer from one image to another?
