View 3 Replies View RelatedI have some logos which all have a white background. I want to remove this white background to leave it transparent. So far I've managed to remove it but it hasn't been very clean as I've had to do it with brushes and lassos and havent had the effect I want.
I want a clean edge but these all leave grey pixels that blended from the black edge into the white background or just remove the black completely.
I'm looking for a reasonably quick way to do this, as I have 16 logos to get through and not too long to do it in.
Basically, I am working on this pause screen pic from Mass Effect 3. I am trying to turn it into a good background for my phone. I'm trying to do a number of things with it, some of which are proving easier than others. The most difficult thing I want to do is remove all the buttons from the right hand side, so there are five buttons on the left and just background on the right.
How would be best to go about this? I have tried selecting individual sections and painting over them with a gradient fill, and I've tried using an automatic resynthesizer plugin using a selected texture, but neither have yielded good results. The former becomes obvious due to its uniformity when done in large doses and the latter just comes out all wrong.
I'm sure there must be a way of doing this but I've been fiddling with it for hours. How can I remove, or make a background transparent so that I don't get the white box when I use this on a coloured background.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an image that has a white background. I want to change this background to be transparent.
I can of course select everything around the image and delete it, but the pixels near the edge are a combination of a colour and the background colour. I want to be able to change these to the colour semi transparent (ie remove the background colour portion of the pixel). Is there some easy way to do this?
I need the logo of my team from a game I play so I can modify or create profile cards. I have the original card and I'm trying to copy and paste the logo so I can use it on another image with a different background or theme. But when I copy and paste the logo I want to use, I use the "select" option and it goes with the original background. Is there an option so I can make the background dissappear and just get my logo on a transparent background for future use or edition? In this case I'm trying to make a St.Patrick's theme for the fan page of my team.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have some text documents in PDF format and would like to edit it in photoshop CS5, but each time I open them up in photoshop, the background seems to be transparent (tiny grey and white tiles), which is very eye tiring when editing/annotating with a wacom pen, how to fill the background total white?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI often produce graphics in CorelDRAW, export it as en eps file and insert it inside a MS Word document as an image and finally convert it to pdf. This way my vector graphics (often linedrawings with or without fill) usually is preserved in the final pdf document. I can zoom in and the lines keep on displaying perfectly sharp. This is important, since it easily looks bad when thin lines are turned into bitmaps, even when watched from a distance.
Now, in some graphics I created today, I had a circle with fountain fill and outline (symbolizing a sphere) put behind a filled rectangle, which had a uniform transparency applied to it. In the resulting pdf file, the 'sphere' was turned into bitmap. Inside CorelDRAW everything was vector graphics, but something was loast in the process. what happens with the graphics in the different steps in the process and eventually could explain a workaround to make everything look as vector in the final pdf file.
I was asked to cut out the background from a logo to make it transparent so the logo would look nice on a variety of backgrounds. I've been given a good quality jpeg file.
What I did was I selected (by colour) the background (white), inverted the selection, copied it and pasted as a new image.
It's all fine (the logo itself doesn't have any other elements) but there's still some whiteish/greyish outline around certain elements of the logo.
If I were to do it manually, it'd probably take ages. What would be the best way to accomplish it?
I am not finding a way to make the original pen created object, that is rotated around 360 degrees, transparent. When the resulting transparent 3D object is rendered, there is an opaque representation of the original profile. You can rotate the object in the scene to put the profile in the back, but it will still interrupt the object's refraction and shadows.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a file with 2 layers, one (Layerone) that is blank, i.e. no fill or anything. The other layer (Layertwo) has text. I save the file as a .gif, select transparent, select matte as none, and keep getting a white background when I upload the file to my website.
I also tried copying the text Layer to the clipboard, creating a a new file with the background set as 'transparent', then pasting the text only layer into the new file. I still get the white background when I upload to website.
