Photoshop Elements :: Got The Error Message 150:30 And Was Told To Restart Computer?
Oct 19, 2012
Recently I downloaded a driver tuner for ATI drivers which have become inactive on my computer or outdated. Don't know if this has anything to do with this recent message in Photoshop Elements. I tried to manage photos in Elements and got the error message 150:30 and was told to restart my computer. I've restarted twice and given up.
I use a program that can consume memory like a dragon can consume humans (had to think of a good metaphor ) When I start up photoshop while this program is in use or when I exit the other program, photoshop will crash, almost instantly. The only solution is to restart the computer.
Is there a solution to this without having to restart the computer ? There is plenty of physical RAM, including 20+ gigs of virtual memory incase. Despite all this, photoshop continues to crash.
I frequently use Photoshop CC to create panoramic images with Photomerge. I've found that as soon as I start the Photomerge process, my computer becomes absurdly slow. I'm not terribly surprised by this - my primary issue is that the computer remains insanely slow long after I've closed Photoshop CC. The only solution I've found is to restart the computer. Even this can be difficult, because the computer becomes slow enough that it takes minutes to shut down.
I want to make a point clear here: I'm not complaining about how my computer becomes slow while using Photomerge. I believe this is to be expected on a laptop such as this. The problem is that my otherwise fast computer becomes wildly slow even after I'm done and Photoshop is closed. Photoshop seems to run just fine otherwise.
I'm using an otherwise problem-free 15'' Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion (10.8.4). Computer specs: 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM, Intel HD Graphics 3000 (512 MB). I currently have memory usage set to 80% under performance preferences.
I'm trying to include the Autodesk 360 SP1 in my 2014 deployment. Its working fine but it prompts for a restart and I'd rather not require user action to complete the install. (the users here restart frequently enough to deal with this anyway)
I have tried the following switches in the parameters section to no avail:
Photoshop Elements will not open due to licensing stopped working error: 150:30. Do not have FlexNet Publisher to trash as Adobe says to do. Did look in correct Library. Did do Time Machine restore last week due to a different problem.
I have Photoshop Elements 5.0, but not Premiere Elements. I'm creating a slide show of 415 photos, and I added a soundtrack with about 10 music tracks. All the music tracks have been copied from music CDs. It works fine in Preview mode; but when I save it as a .pdf file, it won't play back with the entire soundtrack. The sound stops after about 2 tracks, and I get an error message. The error message reads:
Warning: Java Script writer
Acrobat has encountered an error while playing this media clip.
It doesn't appear to be a file size problem. I've tried saving it as a medium size file, instead of a large file, but I still get the same error message when I open the saved file. (The large file is 170 MB; the medium file is 134 MB.) Also, there doesn't seem to be a problem, if I only include 2 music tracks.
Does Elements 5.0 support this kind of soundtrack? Will it work if I get Premiere Elements 3.0? Or do I need to get Elements 6.0 and Premiere Elements 4.0?
I have moved to a new PC running Windows 7. Is PE 11 compatible with Windows 7? When I try to install PSE 11 I receive this message 'Error opening installation log file. Verify that specified log file exists and is writable'. I have tried all of the fixes in Microsoft and on the web with no positive results.
I have had Elements 8 working for quit a while on a HP windows 7 64 Bit machine (years) and now suddenly the Organizer crash's when I try to start it. The editor starts and works OK. The problem seemed to start when I switched on the option to autoanalyze on startup , but cannot verify as the setting panel is in the organizer menus!
I have PSE 8, PS Premier 8 and LR 4 insta;lled and haven't had any problems with them. Yesterday I tried to open PSE 8 and received a 'Bad Image' message that stated
"C:Program Files (x86)AdobeElements Organizer 8.0amtlib.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.'
However, I went to My Pictures, selected a file that I had edited in PSE 8 a few weks ago, right clicked on Open With PSE 8 Editor and there it was. When I right clicked on Open With PSE 8 Organizer, I got the same error message as shown above. I also tried openiong Organmizer through Editor ald also got the same error shown above.
How do I resolve this? I'm running WIN 7 Pro, DELL XPS 8300.
I get an error message when I try to update the Raw 7.3 update for Premiere Elements 11 and photoshop Elements. It says to run support adviser which I did, but it says that it could not detect any problems.
My Photoshop Elements 12 editor won't open. I have had elements for 2 weeks and it was worked just fine, but now it won't open even though my organizer works just fine. It pops up with an error message. I have tried the ctrl+alt+shift and that doesn't work either. I have updated all that needs updating.
Yahoo mail is my default mail program. Works fine with everything except photoshop elements 10 photo sharing facility!
Tried everything to get it working. This is my last resort. My email address has been verified by Adobe.
The mail client that opens look nothing like I've seen before. I assume it is an Adobe interface. Clicking SEND gives the error message in the subject heading.
I have a Gateway 500SE PC, Home XP, Nikon View 6.0.0, Photoshop Elements 1.01. I have a Nikon D100 camera. When I import a Nef uncompressed file into Elements it gives me an error box...Unsupported Color Depth. I must change these pictures to a supported color depth. This takes too much time to change every picture in a folder when you want to make a contact sheet What is this and how do I fix it?
I recently upgraded from Photoshop Elements 10 to 11. Everything works great while I am using it but if I do not do anthing in Elements for 4-5 minutes I get the 'Elements 11 Organizer has stopped working' error message, the only option I have is to push the 'Close Program' button.
This is weird, there is one item in my catalog that I cannot delete. Whenever I try I get a dialog box 'Error Deleting media'. I've run 'Repair Catalog'. but that didn't fix it. I've tried deleting the file it is connected to but it still won't let me (either directly or via Find> All Missing Files').
The only other occurrence of this I've traced in the forum is at [URL] .... and that didn't seem to get resolved either. Fortunately though in my case it is just this one file, I can still add files and delete others.
While trying to do a full backup to an external hard drive, I am getting a message "error encountered while writing file" after about 75% of the 14,000 photos. I believe I have traced the problem to a missing slide show presentation program that was on an external hard drive (F) I no longer have. The program still works (from the C drive), however if I click on the program thumbnail in the Organize screen (which points to the F drive), and try to delete it, I get a message "An error occurred while reading files or writing files to disc. The disc may be full or there may be a problem with the source media." I believe that is because it is looking for the program on the non-existent F drive. What can I do to enable a backup?
When trying to drag and drop images from All Media to Local Albums receive error message "problem applying tags/info" This is recent but persistent. I have always moved images to albums by dragging and dropping.
When opening PE 11, error message : online services could not be initialized. Please reinstall appears. Reinstalls does not fix problem. What do I do next?
My ability to share photos using attach to e-mail has stopped working. I get an error message: Organizer could not finish creating e-mail message. Make sure Microsoft is selected as the default program in Windows INternet Control panel. Additionally, I'm upable to check for updates. I get an error message something like "the server is not available..."
Installed Elements 10 today. When browsing for a destination folder for very first project a "Serious Error" message box is displayed and program forced to shut down. What is this and how do I fix??
I'm working on a javascript that goes through a folder, rasterizes the paths inside each file, and saves the results as separate files in another folder. My script works fine on individual files as well as for several simple files. However, once it gets going on some of the big ones, it starts to give me PARM errors.
Illustrator CS5.1Windows XP, SP3 (work computer)JavascriptThe CAD export that created the pdf and eps files broke any curves into tons of tiny straight lines. As a result, these drawings can have 15-35 thousand paths per image.
Get the source and destination directoriesOpen a file from the source directoryGo to the first layer of the fileLoop through all text items to move them to their own layerLoop through all path and compound paths to move them to a groupRasterize the group of path itemsRepeat for the next layer and so onSave the file to the destination directoryRepeat the process for the next file and so on.The scripting guide suggests it could be from conflicting functions or global variables overwriting each other. However, my script is now entirely contained within its own function, and all variables are declared locally. Running from a clean illustrator and ESTK startup, it will still produce a PARM error after a few large files.
The guide also suggests having the script quit and re-launch Illustrator after working on many files. Since I assume these huge diagrams are probably several "normal" files' worth of objects each, I figured it probably just needs to restart Illustrator after x amount of stuff goes through. So I look in the guide's section on launching Illustrator through javascript. That basically says "Why would you ever need to do that?" I tried looking it up in the tools guide, but that document isn't very clear at all.
1. What would I have to do so Illustrator doesn't throw a PARM error on the line marked below? (besides just putting it in a try/catch and pretending it didn't happen) It doesn't consistently happen on the same file or even at the same point in the file, but always at that line.
This is just a tiny part of the script. objectClass is a placeholder for PathItems, CompoundPathItems, etc. Looping backwards and setting the group to null at the end were just experiments, neither of which had any effect on the error.
if(objectClass.length > 0){ var objectGroup = myLayer.groupItems.add(); for(var i = objectClass.length; i > 0; i--){ objectClass[i-1].move(objectGroup, ElementPlacement.PLACEATBEGINNING); //This one keeps breaking stuff. } sourceDoc.rasterize(objectGroup, rastBounds, rastOptions); objectGroup = null; }
2. Failing that, how can I relaunch Illustrator through javascript? Or a limited amount of VBScript, though my knowledge of that is limited too.
