PSCS6 shows the Clone tool transfer images so it is using Open Gl from my NVidia g610 graphics card but in "preferences" it shows no detected graphics processor in the performance window and therefore I cannot access the Hue wheel.
I just bought a brand new Alienware M17x R4 with Windows 8 Pro x64 and Photoshop CS6 won't recognize my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M GPU?I've already updated Windows 8, Photoshop and the Nvidia graphics driver.
I spent so much on a nice graphics card but now it seems PS CS6 can't even use it. It's using the Intel HD4000 instead: I also tried this: URL... According to this, my graphics card should work, it's a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M, which is a 600 series GPU: URL...Tested video cards for Photoshop CS6 #.
Adobe tested the following video cards before the release of Photoshop CS6. This document lists the video card by series. The minimum amount of RAM supported on video cards for Photoshop CS6 is 256 MB. Photoshop 13.1 cannot display 3D features if you have less than 512 MB VRAM on your video card.
Important: This document is updated as newly released cards are tested. However, Adobe cannot test all cards in a timely manner. If a video card is not listed here, but was released after May 2012, you can assume that the card will work with Photoshop CS6.Adobe tested laptop and desktop versions of the following cards. Be sure to download the latest driver for your specific model. (Laptop and desktop versions have slightly different names.)nVidia GeForce 8000, 9000, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 series.
I am running a Dell XPS laptop (Windows 8 Professional) with the following graphics:
Intel HD Graphics 4000 & Nvidia GeForce GT640M
I have Photoshop CC installed (14.1.2) and everything is fine using the NVidia driver version 314.22, however when I try to update the driver to the latest version 327.23 (released 19 September 2013) Photoshop does not recognise the GT640M and will only use the Intel HD 4000!
I updated my PS-CC to 14.1.2 and now my graphics card is not recognized. The problem this update was suppose to have fixed. I have an iMac 27-inch late 2012 with 32 GB memory and 1TB hard drive. My graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M 512 MB. When starting PS-CC after the update, I received a message that my graphics card was not recognized and I need to update the driver.
As you known, only Apple has updates to the graphics driver. There is NO update to the driver on Apple. In checking my preferences I do not have Open GL capability now. My driver worked just fine with 14.1.1. I'm going to try and retreat back to the 14.1.1 if that is possible.
On my XPS 400 system I have a Geforce 7900GS 256MB card installed and on the other system, an XPS 730 H2C, I have dual GTX 280s.
Quadro cards designed for PS CS4 were simply way outside what I could afford. Just like I could not afford faster (above 7200 RPM) harddrives.
I figure, that is the experence of most PS license holders who visit and post in these forums.
My lay research tells me that "possibly" the biggest difference between, say my Geforce latest and greatest, and your Cadilac Quadro is in what the respective drivers are programmed to do.
EVerytime I try and download ANYTHING, it goes to Photoshop (I have CS4) and says, Photoshop does not recognize this file!... what is a 'nerdy photographer gal to do'?? I have had this problem for about 6 months. I called dear old Mumbai, and of course, he told me that I would have to pay for any info! or go to Adobe support systems.
I recently installed Photoshop CS4. I still have CS3 installed. When I go to print from CS4, it prompts me that there is no printer installed on my pc. (CS3 will still print without issues). I have downloaded and installed the latest and greatest drivers for my Canon Pixma Pro 9500. I have tried recreating the Photoshop preference file and still no good on either attempted solution. I even tried unistalling CS3 - no good.
How do I "convince" Photoshop CS4 that printer software and drivers exist on my pc?
Recently purchased a Nikon D600. CS5 does not recognize the NEF files from the D600. I'm told I need Camera Raw 7.3 update, but this works only with CS6. Isn't there any way I can use CS5 with D600 files?
I use photoshop cs4 and a Nikon D300s. I updated camera raw 5.4 and photoshop does not recognize the raw files.Lightroom 3.6 does not recognize the raw files either.
Elements 10 - Just bougfht a new camera, Canon 70d. Elements 10 doesn't recognize the raw files even though the same file extension is the same as my other Canon 60d.
I just built this brand new computer and everytime I open up Photoshop CC it first promps me with a message that 3d features require a minimum of 512mb of vRam and it has detected less on my system. I then go into Edit>Preference>Performance and under Graphics Processor Settings it says that it is Unable to detect information and that photoshop has detected an error in my display driver.
This is a brand new computer the specs are:
Windows 8 Pro - 64bit Intel Core i5-3570k CPU @ 3.40GHz Ram: 16 GB Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
I updated my graphics driver via the Radeon site and it is version: 12.104-130328a-159787C-ATI.
I even rolled back to previous versions of my display driver and still nothing. I also tried out CS6 and CS5 and I still have the same problems.
I just got the 64 bit version of CS5 after using the 32 bit version, and at first the OpenGL stuff was working, but then all of a sudden it stopped. The 32 bit version recognizes my graphics card and lets me use OpenGL, but the 64 bit version doesn't.
I have Windows 7 64 bit and an Intel HD Graphics Family
i have photoshop 7.0 on a windows xp machine. trying to work with a psd file that uses arial narrow bold and arial narrow italic fonts. when i dragged the file into photoshop, it told me those fonts weren't available. downloaded arialnb.ttf and arialni.ttf from the internet, went into my control panel - fonts folder and deleted the old ones that weren't being recognized and installed the new ones. they are still not recognized. microsoft word doesn't recognize them either.
I downloaded some photos to a file under my Photos. When I go to get photos from the file, they aren't there (in windows explorer). What is locking these out?I've tried other downloads, they work fine. Running version 10. I uninstalled & re-installed with no luck.
I have just bought a new camera a canon 5dmk111 and have been shooting in Raw+Jpeg. When I try and transfer them onto my PC in Elements 10 it only recognises the JPEG's and not the RAW. I have previously been using a canon 400D and not had this problem.
Have been using PSE 10 on a four year old Macbook pro with no problems. Opens RAW file with no problem. Just installed the same PSE 10 on a new iMac, and PSE 10 editor says it can't open file because it doesn't recognize the file.
Trying to share on Facebook from the organizer. The Select an Album drop-down is blank, even thoughn I have 43 albums on Facebook. Not even the album created using the Upload Photos to a new album funtion is recognized on later visits. Is there something that needs to be set upi for PSE to allow me tu upload to existing albums?
Bought a new Nikon camera: Nikon Coolpix P7700. Try to open this NRW (RAW)-files in PSE7 and PSE10.Got the following message: (Translated from Dutch in English: Cannot open this ...NRW-file because of a wrong file type).I downloaded RAW-type 8B1. NEF-files from my D300 work well. NRW-files open normally in Lightroom.Adobe DNG-converter doesn't regognize the NRW files.
I have done everything I can find on the web (reloaded files, downloaded new files, you name it) and LR5 still won't let me "use" my AVI files. I can see the snippets,, they appear to be there, but I cannot play them, edit them, scrub them, export them etc. Suggestions other than to dump Lightroom (especially since the Adobe chat service is useless)?
After years of uploading photos with a memory card reader, Adobe suddenly stopped recognizing ithe reader and I can't upload anything. I bought a new reader and got the same results.
After Effects 12.1 doesn't recognize my GTX 780M (latest IMAC 2013) and it's impossible to activate "Enable untested, unsupported GPU for CUDA acceleration of ray-traced 3D renderer.” I've tried to add it in the "raytracer supported cards.txt" file but nothig happened.
