I'm wondering if theres any way to change the colour of the tags in bridge? or add more colours, I know you can change the name of the colour (which seems pointless) but can you customise it with your own colours or add more?

I just updated to Windows Vista Ultimate on a 64-bit machine. I have an Eizo CE240W monitor and calibrate with Gretag-Macbeth's Eye-One.
I was processing my first job and noticed a huge difference in the way the photos looked in Bridge than they did in in ACR and Photoshop.
I'm using Organizer 11. First time evething was ok, persons/faces were detected correctly, then after a few month Organizer doesn't detected new faces and said every time that all faces were detected already also when I imported new fotos from my camera...

As I found no solution, I created a new catalog and imported all photos including their tags newly to this empty catalog. But allready tagged persons are not persons anymore - their tags are now in the "imported keyword tags" (German: "Importierte Stichwort-Tags") and not in the "person/face tags".
How can I tell the organizer that the imported Tags are persons/faces to having no douplicates in the person-tags and normal keyword-tags?
Here some Background Information about my system:

I have just upgraded my Swedish PSE7 to an English PSE11. Of course the people keyword tags did not get converted into people tags because People is called Folk in Swedish. I was not aware of this mechanism prior to upgrading. How can I convert those keyword tags now?

When I view the same image in Bridge, however, the colors are slightly more saturated and seem incorrect. They appear as they do when I view them in non color managed applications. View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I open up images in Bridge they all have nice natural colours but when I transfer them to CS4 they all get a colourcast reducing the colours. B&W images get a brownish loo like the have been treated with sepia colour.
Now I’m doubtful. When I checked the newly installed program it also includes actions I made before. Perhaps CS4 was not completely removed even when I used the control panel in Vista to do so. Perhaps I have to remove the folders as well before reinstalling?

Now, in the Media view, over in the Tags/Info pane, I have Events, Other, and Places Tags, but no People Tags. However, when I look at individual photos in my converted catalogs, the people's names are still attached to them; the people icon is still associated with each photo so marked.

In PSE 10, when you imported new photos, you could drag People Tags from the Tags pane to one or more selected photos to quickly tag the subjects. Now, apparently, I'll have to group any new photos with people in them by hand and retype names over and over again — although those tags are already available in the catalog.

This is clearly insane. Surely Adobe hasn't taken something easy (dragging a people tag over from the right pane to a newly added photo) and turned it into something cumbersome and inefficient?

How do I get the Media view to populate the People Tags in the Tags pane along with the Existing Events, Other, and Places Tags?
Bridge/ Photoshop Colour Issues: It appears that there are a few pictures that are noticeably dull, when I load them in Bridge and Photoshop.  Those same pictures are very vibrant when I look at them directly from the SD card or load them into Picassa.Â
I tried editing the picture, saving it in Photoshop, then opening it up in Picassa and it has the same dullness. Since having this issue, I have updated the drivers on my Quadro graphics card, but I think it may be something to do with the way that I set up Adobe Bridge, because this is the first time I have imported a large batch of photos from Bridge. However, I pretty much left everything as the standard settings in Bridge.Â
 FYI - I just started using the Adobe Master Collection, with Win 7 Pro 64 and Huey Pro embedded on my laptop. My colour settings are Huey Pro on my laptop, SRGB in Photoshop and General Purpose for Bridge (I haven’t had this issue before and Huey Pro has been my colour settings on my laptop since I got Adobe).
Bridge is making gamma adjustments on my thumbnails!
I want to make the color adjustments,
I want only for the RAW files to load.
How do I PERMANENTLY DISABLE THIS FUNCTION?
I click on the black and white thumbnail and the preview was changed to color, and if you open the .nef file in PS.CS3 it opens it up in color! I don't remember asking to have my B&W photos colored. I looked in the help documentation but Black, White and Black and White are found!

I moved my lightroom 3.6 catalog to a new machine ( a Win7 machine so I could upgrade to version 4 and 5). When I did that photos that I had tagged as RED came over without the RED color and just a white box in the lower right-hand corner of the grid view.

Is there any way to get Revit window tags to behave like the door tags? The door tags seem to be instance parameters while the window tags are type parameters. I would like to use separate numbers for each window even though they are the same type. This would allow me to specify header required for each window in the schedule. I understand that I could edit the window families and save them as different files but this is time consuming. Is there an easier way?

Importing tags for everything other than people works fine (already used tags are recognized and reused). But importing tags for people proved to be a problem. They did not merge automatically with my previous people tags in PSE. My imported people tags ar now placed under "Imported Keyword Tags" in the "Media" workspace. How do I merge or move them to the "People" work space where the people tags for PSE 11 is placed?

In my former installations (5.0 and 5.1) everything was ok ...
After opening Bridge CS6 (and using mini Bridge), there are no thumbnails showing. I've pointed Bridge to just one folder with less than 5 photos in it and it cannot even display them. I'm running a recent Mac Pro with 16GB RAM and kick graphics card.

*More specifically what I am wanting to do is if I have a document that has a dozen solid coated colors swap them for their same numerical equivelant in the Color Bridge CMYK PC library.
I used to mark images yellow in LR if I needed to do further work on them in Photoshop. Once exported as jpegs, I'd open them in Bridge and sort for color labels. In the last year or so, Bridge stopped seeing those labels. It doesn't work in CS4 or CS6.

In other words, working in Bridge CC I assigned star ratings and color labels to a folder full of JPG files. When I import those files into Lightroom CC, the images, metadata and the star ratings are imported, but no color label data was imported. None of the images have color labels when viewed in LR. They still retain the color labels when I view the files in Bridge CC, but they don't appear in LR.
When I try to open bridge or mini bridge in CS5 I get a message saying that the program can't find the JavaScript plugin.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have used multiple versions of Lightroom (2, 3, 4, and now 5). Why can't I add keyword tags to multiple photos? I know that it can be done while importing, but I usually import a whole day's worth of pictures at one time and they don't require all the same keyword tags. The ones that are common I do add during import. I used to be able to highlight the photos I wanted to add tags to, go to the metadata and find find the list of keywords applied to those photos. Tags that were not common to all photos has an * beside them. If I wished to have one of these tags for all the selected photos I just removed the *, otherwise I added the new tag to the list.

uses an online backup system called carbonite. It saves her pictures, however, it does not appear to be saving her "tags" or cataloguing system.
I can find no reference to metadata in photoshop nor any index referencing system to associate tags with a file name.
Is there a way to implement metadata into her photos to integrate the tag info into the pictures? OR Is there a way to backup the index so that if she should have to reload lost data the pictures AND their associated tags are recovered?
I have Photoshop 8.0 on Windows XP. I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 7 Professional.   All the pictures are on an external hard drive. My problem is getting the tags to move. I have followed instructions on the internet but either the intstructions dont work or what I see on the screen doesnt match up with the instructions. Some of the tags show up on Imported Keywords, but not all the tags and some of the pictures that had tags no longer have tags. I have since added a few picts and a few albums. How do I get the rest of the tags to move the new new computer and still not lose any of the pictures or tags already on the new computer?
