Lightroom :: How To Use Multiple Songs With A Slideshow
Aug 12, 2012
Yesterday suddenly some clients came over to see my work.Besides showing them the albums i thought it would be cool to also to show them a slideshow.I knew lightroom could do this, so i quickly selected a bunch of foto's and went to the slideshow module. It was super easy! Next step.. adding music. The slideshow was 10minutes long and so i needed around 3 music songs
However.. i could only manage to get 1 song for the entire slideshow.. Is there a (hidden) option to add more songs or a playlist?
I am attempting to create a slideshow for my daughter's upcoming wedding. There are multiple sections and multiple songs. I can do 1 section with 1 song but don't know how to put them all together. I have Photoshop 9. Retired and not that PC savy.
I asked at Photoshop World this month whether or not Adobe has included the ability to place more than one track of music in a slide show. Unfortunately, this is not possible with the latest release of LR5. However, I would find this incredibly useful for longer slideshows without having to resort to a third party software.
The lightroom slideshow module appears to only allow one picture or one video per screen. I would like to put everything within one folder (usually 4 pictures) on one screen.
I have a Windows 7 computer and use Photoshop Elements 9 and Premiere Elements 9. I recently completed a slideshow that contains about 360 photos, many or all of which exceed the maximum size of 1000 x 750 pixels. Is there any way that I can easily reduce the pixel size of each of the photos? If upgrading to the most recent versions of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements would accomplish this I would be willing to do this.
I'm very unfamiliar with any but the most basic stuff in Library and Develop. I've attempted to create a slide show, decided I wanted to change it and start over but it seems the unsaved slideshow is still hanging about.
I don't see how to get rid of it, I continue to see an 'Unsaved slide show' written near the top left/center of slideshow screen.I want to just ditch that attempt and start over.
I have a 66 image slideshow sorted from a collection.
LR will only export 11 images.
I have tried from the original images (not in a collection), have saved a slideshow, have previewed and played, everything works fine on screen but I can't export the slideshow as jpegs.
I am trying to select music for my slideshow in LR 3. When I click on "select music" in the Slideshow Module I am able to select a song but because of the number of photos in the show I need more than one song or else find a much longer song. I need to add three songs to get adequate length. This is on a PC laptop. I have tried holding down various buttons while clicking on an additional song to add. including the shift button, Alt button, Ctrl, Window button, and Fn. It still keeps unchecking the selected song and then checking the next song I click on.
How do I get more than one song into the Slideshow?
In LR 4, you should skip the previews and just start playing a slideshow (it would render as it played). It looks like that's been removed in LR5? How can I restore the LR4 functionality?
I have exported a slideshow in LR4.2 , w7 64bit, the html preview file works ok but the swf file just shows a greay screen with a ciurcular arrow flashing on a grey screen.
I have created a collection set in Lightroom 5, and under this set there are 5 collections. I would like to make a slide show of this collection set, and I would like my slide show go in sequence with collection 1 through 5. Each collection has still and video images and I would like to put a text messages in the beginning of each collection segment.
I searched the web, look into few books that I have and I did not see anything dealing on how to make a slide show out of a collection set.
Why exporting a slidehshow pdf should result in some images not being displayed but in their place a grey screen with a red diagonal band from corner to corner..?
I have a question concerning the Slideshow module in LR5. When you add to create a slideshow music file (any file in mp3 format) appears in the right pane, next to the name of the music file exclamation point with the message: "The selected file is not a valid music file".
This is - as I wrote above - with each music file in mp3 how I try to add a Playback slideshow.
I have a time series if 245 images that I want to run in a slideshow. Problem is I want to run them in reverse order to that shown in the library. Any thoughts on how this can be done?
While it looks like there have been some great updates in the forthcoming version, I'm surprised to not see mention of any new slideshow functionality. LR3 was very disappointing in this regard only letting you use one song and also no ability to apply ken burns type effects etc. Am I missing something or did Adobe really not make any changes to that module?
