Illustrator :: How To Convert PSD File Into AI

I have a very high quality multi layer .psd file that I need to convert to adobe illustrator in order to export them into autocad.
As I'm very in exprienced, Ive tried to merge the layers in the psd file and then use Export -> 'Path to Illustrator', however when I open the newly created .ai file, it open a dialog box called 'Convert to Artboards' and whatever option i choose (either Legacy Artboard or Crop Area(s)' my new illustrator file seems to be empty.

I have several .Ai files, (each containing a single artboard of the same size), which I would like to convert into a single .Ai files with several artboard.
Basically, I wanted to convert a .cdr file (with several pages) (Corel Draw 15) into an .Ai file. The issue was, when I tried exporting the .cdr file to an .ai file, I got nothing. My 300MB file was reduced to a 2KB file in Illustrator leaving me with nothing. So I had to export each page into a separate .ai file and now I have several .ai files with a single artboard which I need to convert into one!
How to convert the damn .cdr file into .ai, I am dying here.

I have an AI file and when i convert it into an SVG the file comes out bad. There is a radial gradient applied to the ai file and it converts into a SVG the radial gradient comes out at the top hiding all the other objects beneath it. is this got to do with the way the AI file is constructed?

I added CS6 COM reference in my VB.NET application and after that I have the following basic object creation in order to convert a eps file to svg. But for some reason when I create this COM object it is launching the Adobe Illustrator application. Why it is doing like this? It’s a simple COM object why it is interacting with Illustrator Editor?

Need to change the .ai file to something they can use in MS Publisher so they can still edit it.
I have tried everything and searched everything trough.. Can't figure out how to do it, or if it is even possible?
They wrote me this:
Normally when saving a program you also have the choice to import or export to a different document type, saving the original formats.
I need you to try and export the adobe files to MS Publisher format. We do not want to buy Adobe Illustrator. We do not want it used for creaing designs, logos etc as we need to be able to make changes at any time. PLease try exporting to MS Publisher.
Exporting the document should allow us to keep layout and formats without having to convert to eps and then import through an add on filter.
I would like the brochure and all art work done to date saved in this format.

I received files from a freelance designer in Illustrator CS5 format, but my company only has CS4. Although she saved the files for CS4, I still have problems with data loss, for example all the text is broken up into separate text blocks, the layers are lost, the items are all in a clipping masks, objects are randomly grouped together, etc. is there any way to convert the file without data loss?

I am creating clothing and my fashion designers created the pattern in adobe illustrator. Now the contract manufacturer wants a DXF-AAMA format, which is the file format developed by the American Apparel Manufacturers Association in an attempt to solve the difficulties of using DXF files when creating clothing/apparel. How can I do this? I have already created a prototype and printed the fabric/pattern using the AI file (this was done in NY), but the contract manufacturer I am using seems to want this DXF file in the AAMA format.

I have an App developer that is requesting an .AI file for developing an App that can be utilized on all the following Apple hardware (iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPod touch, iPad, iPad mini). What if I have created 7 logo versions. I want the client to view these 7 versions as one file (maybe one PDF file with 1 logo per page). Each logo version is on its own layer in Illustrator right now. How do I convert each logo/layer to a multi-page PDF file? Since this is just for viewing, I don’t have to submit EPS files yet to the client.

I usually work with blender and I have a problem with a file I downloaded. It is a parasolid file (x_t) which I can't open in Blender. I can't use CADexchanger as well because I am using a MAC. How to convert the file into a STL/OBJ/3DS file that I can import in Blender? I compressed the file and it is 5.8 MB so I can't attach it here and would have to send it manually.
