Feb 16, 2009Recently i purchased the CS3 Premium design creative suite - the MiddelEast version. I opened the software and i cant understand anything because im used to the english version.
Is there any way I can change the language settings in this version? with a plug-in or anything else?

May 4, 2009Well, my friend recently gave me CS4 versions of the five programs that I use the most from Adobe. They are Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, and Fireworks. However, the programs he gave me are all in Chinese. Well, I searched on the web, and I found solutions for Photoshop and Dreamweaver, but I need Illustrator for an upcoming project and it would be best if it was CS4. I would like a solution for Flash and Fireworks, to, but the most important is Illustrator.

The problem now is that all the programs are in Swedish, my home-language and I want it in English do to all tutorials and such on is in that language. Is there anyway to change the language in Illustrator to English? (I have already done it in Dreamweaver and Photoshop and everything is working just fine but I cant find for Illustrator)

Dec 24, 2013I'm having some problems with drawing paths in Illustrator. Everytime I draw a new path, this new path shows up in the standard settings. The 'brush defenition' turns back to 'basic' and the 'variable width profile' back to 'uniform'. It would save me a lot of time if I could change those standard settings into what I prefer.

Feb 10, 2014We've purchased an eps file that claims that you can change the global swatch settings, but when I double click the swatch and change the color - it doesn't change anything. If I cursor over the entire art and double click the swatch to make the change, it changes the entire art to a single color. This art has hundreds of sections within it - with lots of various gradients in it. If I choose a single layer to change the colors in the gradient - I can't get the gradient colors to show up, nor can I even get it to change over to the standard black and white gradient. So, I don't know what to do here. Am I doing something wrong here in making the global swatch change? If I didn't know better, I'd say that the art has been completely divided.

Oct 16, 2013I just find GIMP2.8.6 and very interested in it.I just want to make it work in Japanese. I did try below things but still don't get success.
OS:Win7 64bit, English OS.(I added keybord so I can type Japanese too)

I first uninstalled GIMP. I added variable "LANG" and value"ja" in envaromental variables for user variables and also system variables and re-start computer and re-install GIMP2.8.6. GIMP is still in English.
Again, I uninstalled GIMP.I had both English and Japanese in keyboard in Region and language setting in control panel. so I removed English key board. so now it has Japanese keyboard as default input language. Japanese(japan)-Microsoft IME.I restart computer and reinstall GIMP2.8.6. It's still in English.
Even I look preferance-Interface and language setting, there's only "System Language" or English[en_US] can be selected. no Japanese.Doesn't GIMP 2.8.6 show menus in Japanese?

2 - How do you change the language? The release notes say: "A question that often arises is how to change the UI language in GIMP, which has traditionally been a bit cumbersome. Not any longer, it is now possible to change the language in Preferences." But, I don't find that option anywhere in the Preferences of 2.8.2.
3 - How do I install the Help files for 2.8.2 on the Mac. I have searched and searched and find nothing.
Lightroom :: Does LR4 Initially Preview At Specific Settings / Change To Individual Image Settings
May 2, 2012I’m a long time Photoshop user but recently picked up LR4 to try to fine tune my workflow. I’ve noticed that after importing new files (RAW, I haven’t tried with jpg) into my library as I scroll through them (1-up, not in grid) the preview comes up and then after a second or so the WB changes to a much colder image.
Does LR4 initially preview at specific settings and then change to the individual image settings? Even if so, the final images seem very cool and I feel like I have to up the temp more than I should have to. My previous workflow was to sort in Bridge and then use ACR to import to Photoshop. I feel like I did much less tweaking of my WB this way. I feel like I’m starting from square one with LR4.
