I have a block "MANAGER" with Two Attributes "CETOP" and "CEBOT" I would like a lisp to replace what ever is in those attributes with defined text, for my purposes "Text1" and "Text2". I would like a simple routine that even I can understand so I can apply it to a couple of other lisp projects I have.

How to modify this lisp that I receive a prompt to choose if the width attribute will be change just in the selected block or in all instances of the block? In that way, I would not have to use the ATTSYNC command each time.
select all blocks on certain layers in a drawing, check attribute CIRCUIT in each block if it starts with MS then attribute CONTROL = switched. I hope thats clear enough the way

how to change the font of a specific attribute in all my blocks in a drawing. I am trying to change the INST attribute font to Arial but I have thousands of them through out my project. My other attributes that I do not want to change are using the same Style as this block so I can not simply change the style.

For example: If the attribute is called "name" and has the text string of ALAN in it in some drawing or BRUCE in other drawings, we want to chaneg all drawings to TOM.
What I am trying to do is grab the value of the owner tag (of which there are four), and use that value to determine which layer to place it on. What it seems to be doing is hanging.

At current I can only change one tab at a time.

Background: Someone exploded an attribute block and copied it hundreds of times throughout a project, each time changing the Attribute Tag to match the Value they expected to appear in their drawing. The drawing must be xrefed, so the attribute definitions do not appear.
(There is only 1 attribute in the block.)

I have an attribute blocks and this att block has two tag values , is there a simple code for to change 1st tag values automaticly according to 2nd values ?
for example :
1st tag (50x50) - 2nd tag ( 100 ) ==> 50x50-100
if i enter 201 valuse to 2nd tag then 1 st tag has to change as 100x100
if i enter 501 valuse to 2nd tag then 1 st tag has to change as 150x510

I've had a simple lisp I've been using for years that suddenly disappeared. It required that you identify a block name, tag name, and the value that you want the tag to be. All of this is performed via command line, so it is scriptable. Since I lost it, I've been experimenting with -attedit. This command comes frustratingly close to what I'm looking for, except it only appends an existing tag, or replaces a specific string within the tag; I can't get it to replace the entire tag, regardless of its value.

I have a lisp file that reads in a point list from a text file and creates a number with a circle around it for every point, then a line from one circle to the next in line with the center point of each circle. Is there a simple way of making the lines "go behind the circles". The portion of code that creates the circles, lines and text is as follows and a cutout screen dump of what it looks like is below.

I'm trying to run a simple routine that would let the user place the value from the titleblock attribute as text on a drawing. I have tried everything even un-installing and re-installing. I have customized programs that have been working properly for months by many individuals. These include custom menus, toolbars and ribbon tabs. One day last week one of the ribbon tabs disappeared. The crazy thing is if I load the .cuix file as an Enterprise cui, everything is visible and works just fine. BUT, when I load it as a partial cuix file the ribbon tab does not show up. The custom menus come in, my custom toolbars work and show up just fine but the dag blasted ribbon tab won't show up.
Yes, it's marked as visible. I've done and redone the cui editor, customized my workspace again and again checking every piece of information. I need to have it loaded as a partial cui file as I am the author of these tools that hundreds of people in my company depend on.
I have 3d items exported from sketchup, that have extrusion vectors to them.the VLA-GETBOUNDINGBOX lisp function seems to return values from the block's coordinate system.
I need values as if there was no extrusion vector, in WCS.I am not clear on how to do this, as it seems like I want a fundamentally different box.Is there a way to recalc the box orthogonal to world coord system for each insert of the block? URL....

I am trying to customize AutoCAd for a special domain where attribute values need to have a type. I can have a clean integrated solution by manipulating the acad.dcl or base.dcl .I am using AutoCAD 2012 . I want to extend the " define attribute" and "edit attribute" dialog boxes to promt the user for a value type when they define an attribute .I can't find the definition for these dialog boxes in acad/ base dcl files. Ideally I want to add another tile definition to these dialog boxes .If that is not possible atleast spawn a different dialog box from the "define attribute " dialog box that will collect the value type from the user.

The title block, block name is static. The attribute name is static.
My ultimate goal is to copy the value of one attribute and "paste" that into the value of another attribute, and itterate this through the entire project.
