I have been running AutoCAD LT2002 on a very old desktop computer and am attempting to switch to my new laptop. I have the original CD, Serial No., and CD Key. I have switched computers many times in the past and have had no problems installing this software on any of them. This time, it is giving me a "serial number not valid" message and will not let me proceed with the installation. I had some difficulty entering the number initially (the label with the s.n. was quite faded, but I KNOW that the serial number is entered correctly now-- what do I do?

I have Revit 2012 on a old laptop. I tried to install 2013 on a new laptop, but had this same problem and gave up. Now, I need 2014, so I'm readdressing the issue.
In the middle of a photoshop session the application spontaneously quit (when changing colour palette). This is a totally legal copy of CS2, recently successfully transferred to a new-ish Mac running Snow Leopard. When I tried to restart P'shop it came up with an error message "Your Adobe Photoshop user name, organisation, or serial number is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue and must now exit."Subsequent attempts to launch p'shop came up with a supposedly humorous "Space Monkey" splash screen.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to install the latest Inventor View on all of the computers at work and keep getting this error. The program installs fine, opens fine, but I can't set it as a default program to open .IDW, .IPT, and .IAM files. When I do I end up with the error "not a valid win32 application".
The computers are running the 32-bit version of XP, and Inventor View 2012 works fine on all of them (after doing the DtDv install trick).
Also, while we are talking about Inventor View, is there ANY reason at all why it isn't combined with TrueView??? Seems like such a hassle to have two programs doing basically the same thing, with TrueView being MUCH more functional.
I would like to have the part number automatically be entered with ilogic.
Normally I know how to do this but this time I'm trying to have a couple constant letters with numbers to be filled in.
Example
MGR72
MGR is constant and the 72 will change with the width
What I thought would work but doesn't is
iProperties.Value('Project", "Part Number")="MGR" Width
I am wanting to get a separate block to load if a third number is entered when prompted. If enter is hit or only 2 of the numbers are entered, load the other block. I couldn't even get it to do right by even equaling a specific number.
View 8 Replies View RelatedSo I have created 2 text fields via composition ready
$("<input type='text' value='' name='input1' id='input1' size='5'>").appendTo("#Stage");
sym.$("#input1").css({"position":"absolute","top":"70px", "left":"52px"});
$("<input type='text' value='' name='input2' id='input2' size='5'>").appendTo("#Stage");
sym.$("#input2").css({"position":"absolute","top":"90px", "left":"52px"});
input1 AND input2.
The user then puts a number in each field.
I have a 3rd field created to hold the answer. I also made a text field with the name "scorefield" to see if that would work, either will do.
Then on a button on the stage, the user clicks on it to add those first two numbers together and have the sum appear in the 3rd field or the text field that has the symbol name "scorefield".
However I can not seem to be able to add the 2 values of the text fields. On the submit button I have:
var number1 = $("#input1").val();
var number2 = $("#input2").val();
var additionresult = number1 + number2;
sym.$('scorefield').html(additionresult);
answer1.value = additionresult;
The problem is that it is NOT adding number1 and number2 together!
If I substitute + for - or / or * it works using those symbols, but if I try to use the plus sign and add the two, it does not work and instead physically adds the numbers next to eachtoher.
So If I were to put a 5 in field one, and a 2 in field 2, the result comes out to be 52...instead of adding the two values, it places them next to eachother.
I know those ARE numeric values because any other mathamatical sign works. I can multiplay, subtract and divide those two numbers. I can even check to se if its higher or lower of a value using > or <.
But when I use the + sign, it breaks.
Is there some other sign I must use to add two values?
I know that in the MS Windows' "command prompt windows" I can type:
WMIC BIOS GET SERIALNUMBER
to get BIOS serial number. so how can I get it with LISP?
When I try to enter my serial number of CS6 which I just downloaded on your My Products & Services Site it responds with Please enter a valid serial number.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought and downloaded CS4 upgrade. The first install on my desktop went fine. When trying to install the second on my laptop, the serial number box turns up a red x immediately upon typing it. I have verified my serial number and re-typed it numerous times. I did an on-line chat and after a half hour wait was told they couldn't help me. Gave me two phone numbers to call for licensing problem, both long distance. I called both numbers and got fax machines both times.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to locate my serial number without the CD or package my Photoshop CS5 came in? I can't find either of those items, but I need the serial to upgrade to the new CreativeCloud.
I've looked on forums and some people have said to close and re-open Photoshop and the serial will appear, but that doesn't happen for me.
We tried to download the software with the serial number, however fail. It prompts the following error message
“Invalid Serial Number” Please re-enter a valid serial number.
I have been running a valid copy which I registered when I installed. Recently get a message to uninstall, re-install then contact support. When contacting support, they say the SN is invalid and refer me here. I registered the SN three years ago, and it is no longer there. I have CS3 Dreamweaver, and InDesign which the registration is no loger in the myProducts file either. I haven't tested, but am assuming I will have a similar problem with them as well.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, I'm wanting to put Adobe Photoshop CS4 on my new computer but can't find the e-mail with the serial number in it. I've used countless software but no serial found works.
The question now is: How do I find the serial?
hard drive where I had installed my PS3E died, so I bought a new 500G hard drive to replace it. I also bought a laptop the same day.
When I try to register on either computer, Adobe tells me that my numbers are invalid. I assure you They Are Correct and They Are Quite Valid.
So when I signed up a moment ago, when I included my serial number, I GOT A MESSAGE SAYING THAT MY NUMBER HAS ALREADY BEEN USED, so apparently It Is Valid.
When I signed up to post on this forum, I received a message from Adobe saying that Someone Else was using my name, and it suggested that I include My Bloody Middle Initial!
Is it just me, or is This Absolutely The Most Inept System on Earth?
I need to register or apparently I will not be able to upgrade.
My O.S is Windows XP Pro (SP3) and my computer has more than enough nuts and bolts inside it to run NASA never mind CS4! My anti virus is AVG 8.5 and my firewall is Zone Alarm, both of which were disabled during the attempted install.I purchased the upgrade from the Adobe store (at £165) and had the box delivered - great so-far!However, when I came to install the upgrade, and after putting in the correct CS4 serial, a window opened to inform me that the system-profile search, failed to find the CS3 in the defaul location - and believe me it's there! I followed the on-screen instructions, typing-in the serial number of my (leagally-bought) CS3; to my horror, it told me that the serial number was 'not a valid copy' when it clearly is!!I have successfully installed the CS4 Upgrade only on a 30 day trial basis but still cannot register as it then tells me that BOTH my serial numbers are invalid. Suffice to say that the 30 day trial version was later uninstalled and I am now back to square-one and £165 poorer!I have opened a case with Adobe but after over a week have still had no reply. Phoning customer support in the UK was also a no-no as their office hours (9-5 Mon to Fri) are not compatible with me as I cannot be next to my machine during these times (Unless I take a day off!) My next option is to phone the States but hey - it's only money!!My question is therefore - can anyone help or make suggestions as to how I can resolve this issue. A point to note that after buying and installing CS3 I notice in the headline (once the programme is running) it is labelled 'CS3 EXTENDED' yet this is not written on the box - is this normal? The CS4 Upgrade was the same so it looks like I am trying to install a like-for-like product.

I install photoshop, enter the serial number, all works fine. The next time I open up photoshop, it says that the serial number is no longer valid. I tried calling adobe the first time and they said that the number I had given them was invalid, yet it worked the first time. It's like I use it once and then the activation or whatever won't let me enter it again. I'm not sure what to do! Once you enter in a valid serial number,

View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Photoshop CS3 Extended trial for Windows a second time. After installing it onto my PC computer. I went into setup and it ask me for a serial number or if I want to try it for 30 days. I mark try for 30 days and click next, it took me to a dialog box that stated there's a problem with the trial. I click continue and it take me back to the dialog box where it requires a serial number. I don't have a valid serial number because I want to try the new version.
The same thing happened the first time I download it, so I try downloading it a second time. It's doing the same thing. Is there a way to fix this problem??? I using Windows XP Professional. I have 4GB of RAM.
As the title says, when several commands are entered very rapidly, i.e. zoom + extents (z+e), AutoCAD doesn't seem to recognise the second command. I believe there was a command that I came across a while back that adjusted the time delay between entered commands but I am unable to remember or locate it.
Any way to decrease the minimum time between entered commands?

I have successfully installed the download version of Photoshop CS 6 Extended on my IMac, but (a ) want to install this on my Macbook Pro. I thought I should first register the product with Adobe ( as I have always done ) but when I enter the serial number, I am asked for a valid serial number - but this is the one Adobe supplied! I cannot locat a serial number ( to check ) when I am running Photoshop CS6 Extended on my Imac, so this Adobe notification is the only one I have ( when I completed the Adobe Licensing )
